Deltona, FL, also known as Florida's Bright Spot, is located in Volusia County along the state's eastern coast. Originating as a retirement community with 4,000 residents, Deltona has grown into an active city filled with outdoor activities and community events for the over 85,000 residents that call it home. Originally called Deltona Lakes, the new community grew rapidly throughout the next two decades. Deltona Lakes was officially incorporated as The City of Deltona in 1995.
